UPND Kasempa MP questions President Lungu's failure to declare a national mourning for 50 people killed by Mob Justice

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Kasempa Member of Parliament Brenda Tambatamba has questioned President Edgar Lungu's failure to declare a national mourning for the 50 people  killed by Mob Justice due to spate of gassing incidents. "We have mourned people who have died in Road Traffic Accidents through a national mourning, what about those [50 people killed] don't they deserve a significant departure?"  Tambatamba questioned. Ms, Tambatamba says the country has mourned people who have died in Road Traffic Accidents through several national mourning days but wondered why the Zambian  Government  and President Lungu in particular failed to extend such an honor to the Departed Innocent souls. Mafinga MP backs President Lungu’s Commission of Inquiry on Gassing

Patriotic Front (PF) Mafinga Member of Parliament (MP) Jacob Siwale has welcomed President Edgar Chagwa Lungu’s intention to set up a Commission of Inquiry into gassing incidents which have so far resulted in 50 deaths and 26 suspects being apprehended by law enforcement agencies.  In an interview after  President Lungu made his address entitled: "The Progress Made in the Application of The National Values and Principles delivered to The Fourth Session of The Twelfth National Assembly on Friday, 6th March 2020, in Lusaka," Mr. Siwale said the Commission of Inquiry once set up will allay speculations that gassing is a scheme organized by either the Patriotic Front (PF) or the United Party for National Development (UPND) led by Hakainde Hichilema. House of Moses receives donation from AVIC

In line with the continuous commitment to giving back to under privileged sections of the community, China's Avic International has donated an assortment of items to the House of Moses, an orphanage in Lusaka valued at K10,000. The foodstuff which included cooking oil, sugar, Milk, Mealie-meal, Cereals among others were handed over to the House of Moses, Business Manager Salinda Phiri at a function which took place at the Orphanage. Failure to pay back the money to cost PF in 2021- Apostle Kunda

Presence of God Ministries International Senior Pastor, Apostle Christopher Kunda has charged that the ruling Patriotic Front will find it difficult to win the 2021 elections if former and serving Ministers who remained in office illegally after the dissolution of parliament 2016 fail to pay back the money. Apostle Kunda says the people Zambia will not trust them with power, hence the need for them to pay back the money. “I think it is an honor that the affected ministers respect the judgement because no one is above the Law. Energy Minister Mathew Nkhuwa says he has no intentions of resigning following calls by National Democratic Congress president Chishimba Kambwili for him to step down over continued load shedding in the country. Tuition centres source of exam leakages- ZNUT

Zambia National Union of Teachers [ ZNUT] Public Relations Officer Joe Kasaka has urged government to monitor Tuition Centres in the country accusing them of been the source of Examination leakages. "I think Tuition centres must be monitored closely because most sources of these leakages are coming from their because their aim is to ensure that they prove a point that what they have been teaching are bearing fruits so that they can have market next year, Mr. Kasaka has said. "And at the end of the day what they do is to try by all means to get these papers and disseminate them to their students which are very unfortunate because we think a tuition centre should prepare their students on how to answer examination questions among others."
