UPND Kasempa MP questions President Lungu's failure to declare a national mourning for 50 people killed by Mob Justice

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) Kasempa Member of Parliament Brenda Tambatamba has questioned President Edgar Lungu's failure to declare a national mourning for the 50 people killed by Mob Justice due to spate of gassing incidents. "We have mourned people who have died in Road Traffic Accidents through a national mourning, what about those [50 people killed] don't they deserve a significant departure?" Tambatamba questioned. Ms, Tambatamba says the country has mourned people who have died in Road Traffic Accidents through several national mourning days but wondered why the Zambian Government and President Lungu in particular failed to extend such an honor to the Departed Innocent souls. She has charged that out of the 50 People killed, 90 percent of the deceased citizens were innocent and not linked to gassing incidents.
