Zambia suffering from Tribal tension
Zambia Religious Council (ZRC) Executive Director, Howard Banda has expressed concern at the increasing levels of tribal tension in the Country.
Mr Banda says contrary to the perception that there is political tension in the country, what is there is tribal tension.
He says there is need therefore to address tribal tension.
Mr Banda says the church should demonstrate leadership and address the issue of tribalism openly which he says is affecting progress and unity.
And Mr. Banda has doubted if the pending dialogue will achieve its intended purpose stressing that the three mother bodies namely Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ), Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) and Zambia Conference of Catholic Bishops (ZCCB), are divided.
