Acquire to Share Foundation to build community School for vulnerable kids in Chongwe

Acquire to Share Foundation has announced plans to construct a community school in Chongwe District, Lusaka Province, aimed at benefiting hundreds of vulnerable children.

Initial estimates indicate that the Foundation will require at least K1 million to commence the project covering the laying of the foundation slab, construction of initial classrooms, and teacher housing.

To raise the required funds, the Foundation, through its Executive Director Mrs. Victoria Yambani, held a fundraising car wash in Lusaka’s Kamwala South at Splash Car Wash and Barbershop.

Mrs. Yambani has reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to uplifting vulnerable groups, particularly children and women, through sustainable empowerment projects.

“Our main objective is to contribute to the well-being of children and women,” she said. “While we do assist vulnerable men in critical cases, this particular project is focused on supporting children who have been left behind due to lack of access to education.”

She has stated that the planned school will include a feeding program to ensure that pupils do not attend class on an empty stomach.

“This is just the beginning. We understand that building a school is a massive task, and we are lining up several fundraising activities to help meet the needed amount,” said Mrs. Yambani.

She has described the school as more than just a learning facility but a community initiative aimed at restoring hope to underprivileged families.

Mrs. Yambani has also appealed to well-wishers, corporate entities, and other stakeholders to support the cause, stressing that the burden of addressing social challenges cannot be left to government alone.

“We are grateful to our current partners and remain hopeful that more will come on board to help us bring smiles to the faces of vulnerable children through education and empowerment,” she said.
