Zambians urged to take insurance seriously

Zambians have been advised to take insurance policies seriously by insuring their properties against any eventualities.

AYO Insurance Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Nkolola says humans are vulnerable to calamities, hence it’s important to plan before they occur.

Mr. Nkolola says AYO Insurance has contributed significantly to the growth of the Zambian Insurance Industry through the provision of sound life insurance products and services which include; my family insurance, hospitalization, life insurance cover among others.

He says although people might not see the immediate benefits when paying insurance premium, they will see the benefits when calamities happen.

And Mr. Nkolola says the insurance week which runs from 25th to 30th September is an important event as it will help sensitize members of the public on the importance of social protection by way of insurance and allow them begin to appreciate these services.

Zambia’s Agriculture Sector flourishes as SAFF Loans reach 8,715 farmers.

The Ministry of Agriculture has revealed that the Sustainable Agriculture Financing Facility (SAFF) has made a significant impact on Zambia's farming community, providing loans to 8,715 farmers across the country. Through this initiative, farmers have gained access to crucial resources that enhance agricultural productivity and resilience, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future in the sector.
