Zambians behind alebwelelapo agenda – Chisanga

Patriotic Front Chairperson for Legal Affairs George Chisanga says it’s the people of Zambia who are pushing the‘alebwelelapo’ agenda because of the economic hardships they are going through.

Mr. Chisanga who is also Lukashya Member of Parliament says Zambians feel former President Edgar Lungu performed better during his reign.

He says the country has never faced the kind of hardships people are going through.

And Mr. Chisanga says the 2024 national budget is not motivating to ordinary Zambians who are facing numerous challenges.
                   
Meanwhile Mr. Chisanga has blamed his party for having failed to undertake serious reforms in the judiciary.

Mr. Chisanga says there is total collapse in the delivery of justice in the country.

He says the PF needed to undertake judicial reforms between 2011 and 2014, but because of the political interference and the death of former President Michael Sata, the party shelved that idea.

Zambia’s Agriculture Sector flourishes as SAFF Loans reach 8,715 farmers.

The Ministry of Agriculture has revealed that the Sustainable Agriculture Financing Facility (SAFF) has made a significant impact on Zambia's farming community, providing loans to 8,715 farmers across the country. Through this initiative, farmers have gained access to crucial resources that enhance agricultural productivity and resilience, paving the way for a more sustainable and prosperous future in the sector. According to Balewa Zyuulu, the Principal Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Agriculture, this initiative has helped drive substantial improvements in the farming sector. “ As of March 2025, a total of K755.2 million has been disbursed, with over K640.3 million already utilized by farmers.
