has added to his chiefdom by impacting his subjects’ academic standards and
Christian values. The traditional leader was particularly impressed with the educational
philosophy of Rusangu University, which trains the head, hand and heart.
“I
am glad that we have a university in my chiefdom. This is the biggest gift and
asset because you (Rusangu University) are laying the foundation for life. Your
teachings are for life, which is why my biological son pursued his studies with
your university,” Chief Monze said.
In response to His Royal Highness’s statement, Dr. Tadepalli, the Vice Chancellor of Rusangu University, expressed his willingness to collaborate with the Chief and enhance the development of both the university and his chiefdom.

through its Vice Chancellor, the University extended an olive branch to His

a fundamental role in offering land to establish the Rusangu Mission in the
early 1900s.
