Charles Banda: I‘m fulfilling my campaign promises

"I Am Fulfilling My Campaign Promises" Patriotic Front Kapoche Member of Parliament Charles Banda said.

Dr. Banda has indicated that he has so far witnessed the fulfillment of a number of promises he made to the electorates in the run-up to the 2016 elections.

Dr. Banda says many of the pledges he made to the Kapoche electorates, prior to the August 2016 elections, were described by his political opponents as lies and impossibilities.

He explains that about five clinics in Kapoche have been so far completed and that government will soon recruit health personnel's in these facilities.

Among the clinics include Mulela Clinic in Kapungwe ward, Chikalaba clinic in Matambazi ward, Kondwelani clinic in Kamwaza ward, Chinzule clinic in Chingilizha ward and Champala clinic ward in Kapoche constituency.

"Champala clinic ward is at about 95 percent completion and i can safely say that it has been completed all we need to do are final touches" Dr. Banda said.

And Dr. Banda says he is committed to service delivery particularly in areas of infrastructure, health facilities and agriculture.

Dr. Banda has however asked his constituents to be in expectancy as he lobby for more development projects that will better their lives.

He is confident that all the communities in his constituency has one way or the other benefited from development projects.

The Kapoche Law maker has further revealed that he has also sunk 13 boreholes from his personal resources as part of measures to deal with the problem of water shortage in some parts of his constituency.

"we did promise boreholes and this we have to do, it is something that we have to continue to do because we have a lot of villages who are looking for water".

"the council is doing everything possible to put up boreholes in these villages, we have done quite a number, "I think from the council through the Ministry of local government in Kapoche we have done about 25 boreholes" He said.

Dr. Banda who is also Tourism and Art Minister said:"remember his Excellence President Lungu has given a directive that he will not take anything for an excuse for a Member of Parliament who fails to visit his constituency, we have to visit and find where the problems are and be able to help and resolve".

He has therefore expressed appreciation to the chiefs and people in the area for their cooperation and gave the assurance that with their support, he will be able to help address most of the challenges confronting the people.
