No politician is worth dying for-Chanda




Opposition new congress party leader peter chanda has urged Zambians not to sacrifice themselves for any politician in the name of politics but rather to embrace hate free speeches.

Pastor Chanda has urged Zambians especially political supporters to shun political violence, saying no politician is worth fighting or dying for.

He has told politicians that since power only belongs to god and no man, thus politicians should be ready to accept his plans.

And pastor chanda has urged political supporters to adhere to the rule of law and stop the violence.

Mr. Chanda is disturbed with the fact that the country is still recording some political violence.

He believes that it is time for all political supporters to reflect and not engage in acts of violence.

Mr. Chanda has noted that both verbal and physical attacks on political supporters; there is need to ensure that political parties across the country should remain focused on their obligations to ensure that Zambia becomes a better place to live.

He urges all political leaders in the country to refrain from violence and resolve any challenges in adherence to Zambia's constitution.

Mr. Chanda has emphasized that all political leaders and their supporters should refrain from violence, and to resolve any disputes in a manner that adheres to Zambia's laws.

The opposition leader has advised Zambians to heed to President Edgar Lungu’s call not to engage in political violence.

Meanwhile opposition new congress party president peter chanda pastor chanda has observed that there is no political party in the country that will manage to unseat the patriotic front government in 2021.

Pastor Chanda has however charged that not even his party can unseat the patriotic front stressing that it is still popular.

He says Patriotic Front remains the most citizen-friendly and development-oriented political party in Zambia despite the challenges the country is currently facing.

Pastor Chanda says PF party believes and has patently exhibited its strong commitment to strengthening the country’s democratic credentials and building a peaceful and stable economy.

He has stated that the party is still receiving support as evidenced from the recent tours Ministers had in Luapula Province were residents braved the rains.

Pastor Chanda feels that Zambia has been safe in President Edgar Lungu’s hands as he has overseen a stable economy and significant economic growth of the country.

“Rome was not built in a day. President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has worked hard in spite of the major challenges his government faced over the last two years. 

He is building the much needed infrastructure and gradually he is creating the opportunity for accelerated development. 

And Pastor Chanda has noted that the major roads, schools, health facilities and other bold initiatives to improve the lives of the people across Zambia are visible for all to see.

“People have tried to frustrate him, distract him but he has remained focused and is delivering on his mandate” says NCP President.

He has advised opposition parties who want to unseat President Lungu to focus on convincing Zambians with a realistic manifesto, instead of trumpeting insults on the Head of State.
