E-Voucher system a mess - Kafumbo
The Zambia Direct Democratic Movement (ZDDM) has advised government to ensure that value addition is taken seriously in Agriculture sector if economic divarication is to thrive in the country.
ZDDM Vice President Charles Kafumbo says dependence syndrome on Copper should stop because it is a depreciating asset.
He says on the other hand Agriculture if taken seriously has potential of not only creating employment but also become the hub of the national economy.
He is therefore advising government to rid the Agriculture sector of the bottlenecks such the late delivery of farming inputs to farmers among others which are making it difficult for the Agriculture sector to thrive and become the engine of the national economy.
He disclosed that farmers in Kalumbila District of Northwestern Province have update not received the farming inputs, a development he said is an indication that the FISP E-Voucher program is in disarray.
