Young leadership urged to step up
Nalolo Member of Parliament Imanga Wamunyima has called upon young people to be humble and open to mentor-ship, demonstrating their ability to lead.
Mr. Wamunyima, who is also the youngest Member of Parliament in Zambia, has emphasized the importance of youthful leadership in shaping the country's future.
And Mr. Wamunyima has commended Antonio Mwanza, former Deputy Secretary General of the Socialist Party, for forming the Democratic Progressive Party and urged him to clearly outline his vision for the country's development.
The Nalolo Member of Parliament has expressed concerns about elderly leaders clinging to power, hindering the growth of young leaders.
"Power must be a program that begins and ends," he stressed, encouraging young people to be strong and prepared to take on leadership roles.
With over 70% of the population comprising young people, Mr. Wamunyima believes it is essential for them to be ready for leadership positions.
